Summary

This bulletin is being issued to remind Agencies to keep TMGT Table 063, Department/Agency/Bureau Contact, current to avoid delays in processing requests and inquiries which could negatively impact employees’ pay and benefits.

TMGT Table 063 contains the names of Agency personnel who may contact the National Finance Center (NFC) about payroll/personnel related matters.

• Written requests or inquiries: The names of Agency personnel signing any written documentation must be contained in TMGT Table 063 by the personnel office
  identifier (POI). Agency representatives must also be listed in TMGT Table 063 to have their ServiceNow request/ticket processed by the NFC Contact Center (NCC). If an individual making an inquiry or request is not contained in TMGT Table 063, no information is released. Documents without authorized signatures will be returned to the submitting POI.
• Telephone calls: Names of individuals with telephone inquiries must be contained in TMGT Table 063. These authorized Agency representatives are then directed to those areas authorized to assist them. If the individual making the inquiry is not contained in TMGT Table 063, no information will be released.

Note: Documents from personnel who are not on TMGT Table 063 are sent to the POI address in TMGT Table 001, Personnel Office Identifier Name and Address. Personnel office addresses and telephone numbers are stored in TMGT Table 001; therefore, TMGT Table 001 should also be reviewed to verify that the addresses and telephone numbers are correct.

Note: As a reminder, Agency representatives must be listed on TMGT Table 063 to have their inquiry processed by NCC. These authorized Agency representatives are then directed only to those areas authorized to assist them.

Implementation

Updating TMGT Table 063

To ensure all TMGT Table 063 change requests are officially authorized, NFC will only process a request from an authorized Agency representative. Agency representatives requiring update authority to TMGT Table 063 must contact their Agency’s security officer. Agency representatives may be authorized for one or more POIs or have global authority for all POIs within an Agency and/or global authority for all contact types. Refer to the TMGT procedure for guidance on establishing global TMGT Table 063 authority.

Note: Agency representatives with update authority can enter or remove the Department/Agency/Bureau contact type and contact name in TMGT. If an Agency does not have authority to update TMGT Table 63, they should contact their Agency’s security officer.
